Experience says it all
Good deal bad deal - Tales of Woe -
some Good things
A very old maxim says wisdom is useless in the hands of the
young, and too late to be useful to the old - or words to that
effect.
Well let's try to change that with good deal bad
deal. Let's try to eliminate the time wasting. Isn't
it better to have a recommendation from a trusted ally. Isn't
it better to be warned of some of the many pitfalls?
Use this site, good deals bad deals, as a catalogue
of dirty tricks some play on fellow humans. Use it also as a
source of good advice. Hear and see the good
deal bad deal as they come along. We all can
help to turn it around. It's not done for any other reason than
that the lessons should be there for the young and older
cronies to see. Avoid becoming victims, avoid being another
conned-man or conned-woman.
The compulsion to create this site was to pubicly name a
supposedly superior company as the really shoddy everything
about them to be that they are.
Then dawned the realisation that there were more stories to
tell. Tales of wicked and dishonest customers, some
bloodcurdling practices on display. More of that later.
Whatever your reasoning, good deal bad deal is
a serious attempt to reverse the imbalance resulting from some
previous ghastly attempts to 'protect the public'.
This the beginning of some analysis for answering the who,
what, how, where, when and why. That's our story and we're
sticking to it.
If it hurts some feelings I for one will not be
disturbed.
You have a tale to tell? Please send it by e-mail initially,
whether as a customer of supplier, goods or services. It cuts
both ways. Good deal bad deal.
Of course it could be fun. That's the plan.
PS I was one of the best at making mistakes - not
seeking advice from those ahead of me and listening to some
wrong (expert) advice which I sometimes did.
I'll tell you about it sometime.
